Does Maxi-Cosi have ISOFIX?
With ISOFIX, the risk of installing a car seat incorrectly is smaller, compared to using your car’s seat belt. At Maxi-Cosi we offer an ISOFIX solution in each age category; baby, toddler and child. For baby car seats, you will need an additional car seat base to use ISOFIX.

Isofit seats still makes use of the vehicle’s Isofix anchor points but, unlike Isofix, uses the vehicle’s built-in three-point seatbelt to restrain the child rather than the five-point belt built in to Isofix seats.
How do I know if my car seat is ISOFIX compatible?
To find out if your car has Isofix points, look for Isofix labels between the base and back of your car seats (the fitting points themselves may also be visible) or check your vehicle’s handbook or contact the manufacturer or dealer.
Can you use Maxi Cosi without ISOFIX?
If you don’t have ISOFIX you can use a seat belt installed car seat. Make sure you know how to guide the belt correctly and pull the car seat belt tight. Pull the car seat’s safety harness tight.
