It was announced in August 2012 that the December issue of that year would be its last, making the entire run a total of 285 issues. Sega also made their own version of Nintendo Power called Sega Visions.

On August 21, 2012, Nintendo announced that it would not be renewing its licensing agreement with Future Publishing, and that Nintendo Power would cease publication in December. The final issue, volume 285, was released on December 11, 2012. On December 20, 2017, Nintendo Power officially returned as a podcast.

No. The most expensive ones are the first and second issue (the one with Simon Belmot holding Dracula’s head) and they go for between $25-80+ depending on condition. The more expensive version would be in absolute mint shape.
