No fishing is allowed. over a year ago. Fishing is not allowed in the Big Spring, which is a sacred place to local tribes, but the lake that it feeds, Indian Lake, allows fishing. Indian Lake State Park, adjacent to Palms Book State Park that holds Kitch-I-ti-kipi, allows it as well.

I would plan on about an hour and a half at the springs. The walk from the parking lot is about 3 minutes. I would say it takes about 20 minutes for the raft to go across and back, it just depends on how fast people pull the raft and how many people are there.
