The more popular the area the site is located in, the more you will have to pay. On average, fees of around £2,000 per annum should be expected. If site fees were around £20 a night, then you would need to use your seasonal pitch for 100 nights to recoup your fees.

Can I live in my caravan on a seasonal pitch?
You’re not allowed to stay in your seasonal pitch caravan all-year-round. Typically, for legal reasons, 28 days is the maximum allowable length for a single stay.
How long can you stay on a CL site?
a. The maximum time you’re allowed to stay on site is 21 consecutive nights, with a 2-night gap before you can return to the same site. However, there are a few sites where you may be asked to vacate for longer periods. Please ask individual sites for clarification.

No, you can’t live all year round on a holiday park as static caravans and lodges on holiday parks are designed to be used as holiday homes rather than primary addresses. You must have a main address as your permanent residence, which your holiday home cannot be.

There are all sorts of rules and variations to this and the first consideration will be what type of private land you’re proposing to put the static onto.
