In Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Hyper Sonic is an enhanced version of Super Sonic that can be obtained by collecting the seven Super Emeralds as Sonic. The player can then activate Sonic’s Hyper State by collecting fifty Rings and then pressing the jump button twice in succession.

Sonic Colors is the better game of the two, but it owes its existence to Unleashed. And Sonic Generations is basically nothing more than an Unleashed mod/level pack with some very welcome improvements (but it did sacrifice some of Unleashed’s graphical effects in order to support stereoscopic 3D). If you have a Wii, you must get Sonic Colors. If you have a PS3 or 360, Sonic Unleashed is still worth it.

no, colors is the best. I’m not sure if it’s just nostalgia, but i enjoyed Sonic Unleashed far more. It has an incredible sense of speed and the beat em’ up stages were enjoyable to a degree, and the blue colour pallete delt quite nice.
