If a student fails a step (scores lower than 70%) Acellus will automatically have them retake it. (Students who fail an exam more than 5 times will be moved forward, the system counting the most recent grade.) If needed, students may cancel the retake step once selected.

Acellus Academy core courses have been reviewed and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Does acellus have live classes?
Students will be required to start at the beginning of each course. Acellus uses deficiency diagnostics and vectored instruction to adjust courseware rigor. Parents are able to monitor student progress through the live class monitor.

Acellus is easy to use due to its simplistic and very outdated user interface. You are able to work at your own pace while still keeping track of how much progress you have left. Cons: To begin with, you will not receive a transcript until you complete at least one of your courses.

Acellus teachers are carefully selected from among hundreds of applicants. To be selected, they must demonstrate an extensive knowledge in the subject area they teach, along with an exceptional ability to reach students and communicate the subject being presented.
How long does it take to complete Acellus?
Please note: To graduate through Acellus Academy, students must complete the entire 12th grade through Acellus Academy (minimum of 6 credits) and be enrolled for a minimum of twelve months.
Can you skip lessons on Acellus?
This allows you to use lessons in whatever order you choose, or even skip lessons. The system still tracks which lessons have been completed by students. Students can work through courses independently, for the most part, something many parents will appreciate. The teacher/parent interface is easy to use.
