How do I get a CIHR grant?
In order to complete an application in ResearchNet, you must:
- Find the funding opportunity you wish to apply for.
- Login using your ResearchNet account information.
- Review the Funding Opportunity Details.
- Follow the “How to Apply” instructions provided in the funding opportunity.
- Complete all tasks in ResearchNet.

How do I get a CIHR PIN?
To register for a CIHR PIN:
- Log into your ResearchNet Account;
- Select your name from the top right hand side of the screen;
- Select “Register for a CIHR PIN” from the drop-down menu; and.
- Complete and submit the on-line form that appears on the screen.

What is the Canadian Common CV?
The Canadian Common CV (CCV) allows researchers to enter their CV data once and output it in formats suitable for submission to CCV Network member organizations. The CCV Network is a partnership of federal, provincial and non-governmental research granting agencies.
How do I find my CCV confirmation number?
A CCV confirmation number will appear within a message box in CCV (it can also be found on the top right of the PDF that is generated after hitting the Submit button). Keep this confirmation number in your records as you will need it to link the CCV to your application in ResearchNet.
How much is CIHR doctoral?

Successful applicants will win one of the following awards: The Frederick Banting & Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral Awards (CGS-D): $35,000 per year for 36 months. The Doctoral Foreign Study Awards (DFSA): $35,000 per year for 36 months.
