How do I get a new NCard in UNL?

What is a NCard?
The NCard is UNL’s official photo identification card. It is valid as long as individuals are a registered student or employed at UNL. The NCard system is campus-wide and is used by campus departments and businesses for identification, access and optional services such as purchasing and educational discounts.
Where do I pick up NCard in UNL?
The NCard Office is located in Room 121 of the Nebraska Union at 14th & R Streets on city campus. Government issued photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport is required to pickup your NCard. A $20.00 NCard fee will appear on your Student Accounts Consolidated Bill.
What is the replacement fee for a lost or stolen NCARD?
The replacement fee is $20.00. A reduced replacement fee will be charged for stolen cards if accompanied by proof of theft, such as a police report or insurance claim form. Once an NCard has been replaced due to loss or theft, it cannot be reactivated should it be found at a later date.
What happens if my NCARD is damaged?
Effective January 8, 2018, the NCard is property of the University of Nebraska. Any intentional damage to the card will result in a $25.00 replacement fee. Intentional damage includes but is not limited to hole punches in the card. Valid accidentally damaged cards less than 4 years from issue date will be replaced for a $20.00 fee.
How will I be notified when the NCARD is ready?
The NCard Office will notify individuals by email when the NCard is ready. An email will be sent when the NCard is ready for pick up.
