Is State of Decay Year 1 multiplayer?

How does multiplayer work in State of Decay?
Hit ESC and go into your Settings options. There will be a Multiplayer option where you can turn on Host Multiplayer Game. Here you can also control voice chat features and if players other than your friends can join you. You can open your game up to strangers and use the in-game Radio to call in for help.
How many players is State of Decay?
Up to 3 friends can join you in the main campaign, in Daybreak, or in Heartland. Or, use the radio to find another player (or volunteer to help!)

What do plague hearts do?
Destroying the Plague Heart instantly kills all Plague Zombies in the area (Except on lethal difficulty). However, for each Plague Heart removed, remaining Hearts become stronger. Though killing a Plague Heart kills all Plague Zombies in the area, it has no effect on regular zombies and freaks around the location.
Is state of decay split screen?
Unfortunately, couch co-op isn’t available in State of Decay 2, so there’s no split-screen multiplayer to be had. Unfortunately, this is yet another title that forgoes and local multiplayer options in favor of concentrating on the online portion of the game.
Are State of Decay characters random?
In the base version of State of Decay 2, those characters are randomized. It’s much like XCOM or Animal Crossing in that I’m given a wide variety of characters with different personalities and wants. There’s just enough there that I’m able to project things onto them, or create stories on my own from what they want.
What caused the zombies in State of Decay?
The reanimated pathogenic-vectors (i.e. zombies) are the non-human antagonists in State of Decay. It isn’t known what exactly created them, but it is assumed to be pandemic-related (due to the description of the Hazmat hero).
